Heritage Pointe of Warren Senior Living Community Captures the Joy of the Season with a Special Santa Experience 

Heritage Pointe of Warren recently hosted a heartwarming holiday event created to celebrate the memories and magic of playing Santa Claus. The inspiration came from resident Ken Higgins who moved to the senior living community this summer. When activities supervisor Diane Johnson mentioned his striking resemblance to Santa, Ken shared that he had played the role for years and had always loved it. Seeing how happy the memory made him, the community life team decided to give him the chance to bring that joy to life again. 

A community life room was transformed into a cheerful Santa’s workshop for children from the on-site daycare, along with residents and staff. Ken’s family brought his Santa outfit, candy canes were purchased for him to give out, and activity stations were set up including sugar cookie decorating and holiday coloring. 

Ken was wonderful with the children, sharing smiles, stories, and a genuine warmth that lit up the room. His joy was unmistakable, and the experience reminded everyone of what the holiday season is truly about.
