Last week, the residents in healthcare at Heritage Pointe of Warren were visited by children of the daycare center onsite at the senior living community. Celebrating Feed the Birds Day, the children and seniors created colorful bird feeders using Fruit Loops and Cheerios, cheerfully strung on pipe cleaners. They played games and greatly enjoyed each other’s company.
There was a lot of laughter and many smiles, creating a perfect morning. It was also a reminder about how the smallest acts of caring can make a difference.
