Cream and crimson (or some variation thereof) filled the room at Heritage Pointe of Huntington senior living community as residents and staff came together to celebrate an unforgettable night and each other.
Knowing how much the residents love sports, the Huntington activities team made sure the experience felt special. A new 85-inch television was purchased and installed so everyone could enjoy the big game on a big screen. Residents gathered after supper, proudly wearing IU colors and sharing stories, laughter, and good-natured cheering.
Brad Fuller, Activities Director, said residents at Heritage Pointe are huge sports fans, especially basketball, but the energy around this football championship brought something extra. The anticipation, the togetherness, and the shared pride made it a win-win. Residents and staff continued to celebrate Monday as a spirit day, dressing in team colors.
The game and the celebration were not just about football. It was about community, connection, and creating memories together. The real win is the experience everyone shared.
