February 12, 2026
Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne Senior Living Community celebrated the Winter Olympics on February 5 with a festive, Olympic themed dining experience that brought residents together through food, culture, and shared excitement.
Approximately 50 residents attended the celebration and enjoyed a culinary tour inspired by countries represented in the Winter Games. The special menu featured international flavors and dishes that highlighted global traditions, inspiring conversation and connection throughout the community.
The event included an opening ceremony, a world taste tour, a parade of nations, and gold medal desserts, creating an immersive and celebratory atmosphere. Residents gathered to share the experience, learn about different cultures, and celebrate the spirit of the Olympics together.
“Food is a great way to experience other cultures,” said Rod Craft, Executive Director at Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne. “The Olympics bring the world together, and this menu allowed us to celebrate that right at the table.”
Following the event, residents continued the celebration by enjoying watching the Olympic Games together. The Winter Olympics celebration reflected Heritage Pointe’s ongoing commitment to providing engaging and meaningful experiences for residents.
