United Methodist Memorial Home (UMMH) is pleased to announce that Shalimar Holderly of Huntington, Indiana, has joined its Board of Directors. UMMH owns and operates Heritage Pointe of Warren, Heritage Pointe of Ft. Wayne, Heritage Pointe of Huntington, and Elizabeth Scott Community senior living communities in Indiana and Ohio. An ordained elder in the Indiana Conference of the United Methodist Church, Shalimar brings both pastoral experience and a long-standing connection to UMMH’s mission.

Her awareness of UMMH began in her youth when, as a member of the North Indiana Annual Conference, she first learned about the organization through conference reports. Over the years, her ministry has often led her into senior living communities, where she offers pastoral visits, preaches, leads worship, and teaches Bible study.
Shalimar said what she values most about serving on the UMMH Board is being part of “a strong and active board with a compelling mission. It is an honor to serve as a member of the board.” She also praised the organization’s leadership, describing it as “strong and competent and deeply invested in the mission of UMMH.”
