October 22, 2026
FORT WAYNE, Ind. Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne senior living community’s team raised more than $1,000 in support of the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, bringing together team members, residents, resident family members, and private donors to support a cause that is important to the community.
The team participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s earlier this month after spending time throughout the year raising funds. Their efforts reflect a shared commitment to supporting those affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
“I am proud of our team for stepping up together to raise this money for the fight against Alzheimer’s,” said Amber Hadley, activity director of Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne. “This cause is important to our team, our residents, and our community, and it means a lot to see everyone come together to make a difference.”
Alzheimer’s disease affects millions of individuals and families, making awareness, research and support for those impacted essential. For Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne’s team, participating in the annual walk was an opportunity to turn their commitment into action while standing alongside others who share the goal of ending Alzheimer’s.
Through their fundraising and participation, the team demonstrated how a community can make a meaningful contribution to a cause that touches so many lives.
